We all enjoy the new music that seems to come out every week,
but do you ever take the time to revisit some of the hits from past. Over the
years there have been many hits and anthems that we sometimes forget about
them. They’ve ranged from hip hop and rap, to R&B to pop and much more. It’s
good to take a walk down memory lane every now and then and listen to a few of the
old songs that made you feel something. With that being said, here are a couple
of some of my throwback hits.

Kanye West is American rapper, singer,
songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, and fashion designer. This Atlanta
native, has changed his sound various time throughout his career creating music
that has been influenced many genres from pop to soul to electronic even to
gospel. The song “Heartless” is a single from Kanye’s 808s and Heartbreak album, and reached number two on the Billboard
Hot 100 back in 2008. This song did so well that it went 6x platinum becoming
one his best-selling singles. “Heartless” is a story of a man who lost himself
to a woman who did not care about him as much as he cared about her and the relationship
doesn’t end well for either of them.

Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake is an American singer,
songwriter, dancer, actor, and record producer. This Tennessee native got his
start in the entertainment world through being a part of The Mickey Mouse Club
when he was younger, later going off to be a part of the world renowned boy
band, NSYNC, as a lead vocalist. As some time went on he decided to venture out
to be a solo artist. “Cry Me a River” was one of Justin’s singles from his
debut studio album, Justified that
was released in 2002. This track was inspired by his then relationship with the
popstar Britney Spears.
