A Blast from the Past

We all enjoy the new music that seems to come out every week, but do you ever take the time to revisit some of the hits from past. Over the years there have been many hits and anthems that we sometimes forget about them. They’ve ranged from hip hop and rap, to R&B to pop and much more. It’s good to take a walk down memory lane every now and then and listen to a few of the old songs that made you feel something. With that being said, here are a couple of some of my throwback hits. 1)       Find Your Love - Drake -         Aubrey Graham better known as Drake is a Canadian rapper, singer, actor, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. Drake gained is rise to fame through acting on a teenage drama series, Degrassi: The Next Generation. “Find Your Love” is single from his debut album Thank Me Later that was released May 5 th 2010. This track is the thirteenth song on the album, and produced by Kanye West. This song talks about what Drake would consider one of his worst character

A Little Billie and More

Billie Eilish has become a seventeen year old superstar. She finally released her first studio album titled When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? March 29 th of this year. This album made it to number one on the US Billboard 200 and topped the charts in various other countries such as Canada, Australia, Scotland, and many more. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? comprises of fourteen tracks including an intro called “!!!!!!!!”, “ Bad Guy”, “Xanny”, “You Should See me in a Crown”, “All the Good Girls Go to Hell”, “ Wish You Were Gay”, “When the Party’s Over”, “8”, “My Strange Addiction”, “Bury a Friend”, “llomilo” Listen Before I Go”, “I Love You”, and “Goodbye”. Like with all of her songs, her brother Finneas produced all of her album. The two of them create hits and though I really enjoyed this album, here are a few of my other favorite song at the moment.     1)       Belong to You - Sabrina Claudio and 6lack -         Sabrina Claudio is a Cuban- American singer

Free Spirit and Good Music

Khalid has released his second studio album titled Free Spirit on April 5 th of this year. This album consist of seventeen tracks including an intro, "Bad Luck", "My Bad, Better", "Talk", "Right Back" , "Don’t Pretend", "Paradise", "Hundred", "Outta My Head", "Free Spirit", "Twenty One", "Bluffin’", "Self", "Alive", "Heaven", and "Saturday Night". Khalid recently dropped this album and it has now become the number one album on Billboard 200. He not only released an amazing album, but he also drop a short film that incorporated some of the songs from his album on his YouTube channel that has gotten also most two hundred thousand views. I’ve really liked his album, but that’s not all that I have been listening to. Here are a few of my favorite song at the moment. 1)       My Bad – Khalid -         My Bad is a new single off of Kha

Feel Good Music

Music is something that can speak to your soul and bring you joy. For me, music has always been a part of my life and has been something that I can rely on. Finding new music is a part of the fun. Being able to hear the music that others listen to that may be different from what you are used to broadens your music vocabulary and allows you to connect with different people. My music taste ranges a lot, so here are a few of my favorite songs at the moment. 1)          Look Up Child- Lauren Daigle -           Lauren Daigle is an American contemporary Christian singer and songwriter. She is currently signed with Centricity Music and has won multiple awards for her work including two Grammys, seven GMA Dove Awards, two American Music Awards and two Billboard Music Awards. More New Music

For those who like Spanish music, here is a treat for you. Maluma has released is newest single “HP”.   For those who may not know who Maluma is, his real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias. He is a Columbian singer and songwriter, who focuses in the genre of reggaeton. Juan Luis formulated his stage name, Maluma, by combining the first two letters of his father, mother and sister’s first names. Maluma is currently signed with Sony Latin and Sony Music Colombia, creating several hits that made it to the top 10 on the Billboards Top Latin Hits. He has also been nominated and won a Latin Grammy Award and two Latin American Music Awards. Maluma has easily become one of my favorite Latin artists to listen and I have been enjoying his new single but it not the only song that I have been enjoying. Solange is back! We know Solange as Beyoncé’s sister but she is also a singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. This year she has released her first album in three years called “When I Get Home”. This albums contains nineteen tracks including “Things I Imagined”, “Down with the Clique”, “Dreams”, “Sound of Rain” and her single “Almeda”.   With new music come favorite songs, so here are my top five songs at the moment. 1)       Last Hurrah- Bebe Rexha -         Bebe Rexha is an American singer-song writer and record producer. She has assisted in the song writing process for many artists like Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas. Her newest single “Last Hurrah” was released on February 15 th as a promo for her upcoming album. BeBe Rexha’s message behind “Last Hurrah” is saying that this is going to be the last night of doing everything that is wrong or bad for her. She tweeted that this song was inspired by her friend who was supposed to be on a diet and her husband caught he

It's Just The Beginning

If you enjoy R&B music then you are going to enjoy this new mixtape by female artist Kehlani. Kehlani released her mixtape “While We Wait” on February 21 st as a teaser for what is to come for her album. This mixtape is comprised of nine new songs including Footsteps, Too Deep, Nunya, Morning Glory, Feels, Nights Like This, RPG, Butterfly and Love Language. It also included features from artist like Musiq Soulchild, Dom Kennedy, Ty Dolla $ign and 6lack. From this mixtape my favorites are Nunya and Too Deep, but they are not my only favorite songs at the moment. Here are some of the songs that I have currently been into. 1)       Sucker - Jonas Brothers -         The boys are back! We know the Jonas Brothers from back in the early 2000’s when they were Disney heartthrobs.
